Gastronomic Dinner with Marcel Guigal at LPM Parklane Limassol

On Sunday, 11th May 2025, La Maison du Vin had the privilege of hosting an exceptional Gastronomic Dinner at LPM (La Petite Maison) Restaurant at Parklane Resort & Spa, Limassol, in the presence of Monsieur Marcel Guigal, one of the most respected and influential figures in the world of wine.

The event was fully booked well in advance, reflecting the excitement and admiration surrounding a winemaker whose achievements have shaped the global wine industry. Marcel Guigal is internationally recognised for producing some of the Rhône Valley’s most iconic wines and has received an extraordinary thirty-three perfect 100-point scores from Robert Parker, a record that remains unmatched.

Often referred to as one of the greatest winemakers in history, Marcel Guigal has been praised by leading wine critics worldwide. Jancis Robinson described him as “simply the Best Winemaker on the Planet”, while Decanter Magazine honoured him as Man of the Year. His unwavering commitment to quality, tradition, and excellence has established E. Guigal as one of the most admired wine estates in the world.

Guests were welcomed with a reception featuring Ruinart Blanc de Blancs served in Magnum format before enjoying an outstanding gastronomic menu created by Chef Panos Petrou and his team at LPM. Throughout the evening, each course was paired with a carefully selected range of Guigal wines, showcasing the elegance, complexity, and diversity of the Rhône Valley.

The dinner offered guests a rare opportunity to meet Marcel Guigal in person, discover some of France’s finest wines, and enjoy an unforgettable evening of gastronomy, wine, and hospitality.
