We are thrilled to introduce the Lagg Single Malt Kilmory Edition, the flagship Single Malt and the first core range release from Lagg Distillery.
The Kilmory edition is the first core range expression released by Lagg distillery – which gets its name from a parish in the village of Lagg. The combination of peated malt and maturation in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels lays the groundwork for what will become its house-style. Aromas of smoked heather and citrus fill the nose, complemented by creme brulee, orchard fruit and bonfire embers.

The Kilmory Edition captures the ‘house style of Lagg,’ focusing on Bourbon Barrel maturation with our peated spirit.
This edition is entirely matured in First-Fill Bourbon Barrels and is bottled at 46% ABV, without chill filtration or added coloring.
For the Kilmory Edition, we use Concerto malted barley and pure water from our borehole. Our carefully selected yeast and fermentation time allow us to craft a full-bodied flavor with a vibrant, fresh taste profile, setting the foundation for the future of Lagg Single Malt. The peat’s influence, combined with the vanilla and creamy notes from American oak, creates the distinctive character of Lagg Single Malt.
