Loureiro originates from the Lima sub-region, birthplace of the Loureiro variety. This region has deep and poor granitic soils. The vines are planted on a half-slope with exposure to the south along the banks of the river Lima and with an Atlantic influence. These conditions and terroir determine the freshness and aromatic exuberance of the wine, as well as a crystalline acidity and an accentuated salinity

This vinho verde reflects the terroir, with a balanced and complete profile. The loureiro grape retains its freshness and impeccable balance.
Winemaking
The grapes for Nat’Cool come from Ponte de Lima, a vineyard about 30 years old, which is spontaneously fermented and aged in stainless steel containers with fine yeast sediment and very little added sulphur.
