Produced in Styria by Johannes Firmenich and Reinhard Jagerhofer, STIN focuses on local ingredients such as apple and elderflower, distilled in small batches for quality and character.
This sloe gin is versatile and easy to enjoy. It can be served neat, over ice, or used in cocktails such as a Sloe Gin Fizz or a twist on a Negroni. It also pairs well with tonic or sparkling wine for a refreshing aperitif.
When we see red, it’s good news. Especially for those who have developed a taste for sloe berries, also known as blackthorn.
First, our gin is macerated and distilled using the original recipe. Only then is the Sloeberry created, by infusing the gin again with sloe berries and sugar, followed by several weeks of further maceration.
This process makes the STIN even more fruit-forward. The sloes add a fresh, slightly tart character, while the core gin profile remains intact.
The Sloeberry is unfiltered and bottled naturally cloudy, with no preservatives or additives. Just as it should be, made with care and attention.
