Pieve Santa Restituta – Gaja’s Brunello Estate in Montalcino Pieve Santa Restituta is the Gaja family’s celebrated estate in the heart of Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany. Acquired by Angelo Gaja in 1994, this historic winery is named after a 4th-century church located on the property.

Today, Pieve Santa Restituta stands as a benchmark for modern Brunello, offering purity, complexity, and timeless appeal in every bottle.

	Flavour Full and layered. Lots of fruit. Juicy finish. Chewy at the end, and with air it becomes layered and very structured. The wine sticks to the palate and offers long-lasting black fruit flavors.

Winemaking:

The Rennina 2019 is crafted from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes grown in three distinct vineyard parcels surrounding the Pieve Santa Restituta estate. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation in oak. The wine is then aged for 24 months in large oak casks, allowing it to develop complexity and structure while preserving the purity of the fruit. After aging, it rests in bottle before release, ensuring elegance and aging potential.

Food Pairing: Ideal with roasted duck, ossobuco, mushroom risotto, or aged Parmesan.
