Green Spot Château Léoville Barton is a distinctive Irish single pot still whiskey created through a collaboration between Green Spot and the renowned Bordeaux estate Château Léoville Barton.
The whiskey is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks before receiving an additional finish in French oak casks that previously held wine from Château Léoville Barton in Bordeaux. This carefully selected cask finish brings together the freshness and character of traditional Irish pot still whiskey with the structure, spice and depth associated with fine Bordeaux wine.
Bottled at 46% alcohol by volume, Green Spot Château Léoville Barton offers a rich yet balanced profile. The nose reveals orchard fruits, vanilla, barley sweetness, gentle floral notes and subtle wine cask character. On the palate, ripe fruit, creamy vanilla, oak and baking spice are joined by a delicate red-fruit and Bordeaux influence.
The finish is smooth, warming and persistent, with French oak, dry orchard fruit, spice and a gentle wine cask character gradually developing.
