Description
Grape Varieties: 48% Merlot, 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot
WINEMAKING AND AGEING
The grapes were harvested between 15 and 29 September 2020.
Fermentation and extraction were carried out with careful parcel selection and precise cellar work. The wine was aged for approximately one year in oak barrels, with a significant proportion of new oak, before continuing its maturation in large wooden vats.
The result is a wine with depth, structure and a polished texture, while retaining the floral and mineral identity associated with Château Palmer.

SERVING SUGGESTION
Serve at 16–18°C.
Decant for approximately two to three hours when opening the wine young. Older bottles should be handled carefully and decanted gently if necessary. Serve in large Bordeaux wine glasses to allow the wine’s aromas and texture to develop.
AGEING POTENTIAL
Château Palmer 2020 is a serious cellar wine with excellent long-term ageing potential. It can be approached after careful decanting, but will develop greater complexity, softness and harmony with further bottle age.
A drinking window from approximately 2028 onwards is recommended, with the wine expected to evolve beautifully through the 2040s and beyond when properly stored.
