Description
Grape: 100% Pinot Noir
VINEYARD AND TERROIR
The Corton Grand Cru vineyard is located on the historic hill of Corton in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune.
The hill combines limestone and marl, colluvium, rocky elements and ancient riverbed sediments. These varied geological formations contribute to the wine’s structure, depth and mineral character.
Wine-growing method: Sustainable
Harvest: 100% manual
Soil: Limestone and marl
Production area: 87 hectares
Average vine age: 50 years
VINIFICATION AND AGEING
The grapes are 100% destemmed before fermentation in open vats over approximately 20 days.
The wine is aged for 17 months, including three months in stainless-steel tanks. It is matured in 100% oak barrels, with approximately 33% new oak, bringing texture and complexity to the wine while preserving its Pinot Noir character.
