Vinification of the Niepoort Late Bottled Vintage
The manually harvested grapes of the Niepoort winery come from the vineyards of the Cima Corgo region in the Douro Valley. They are first carefully selected, then pressed and the resulting mash is foot tamped and fermented with the stems in traditional lagares. Subsequently, this Port is aged for four years in large oak barrels and vats in the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.

We recommend this Port with roasted spicy meats such as veal, lamb, pepper steak or game, with chocolate desserts, especially with dark chocolate and with cheese (cheddar, gouda, brie, blue cheese).
