MATURATION
Matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, with a careful inclusion of American oak casks that previously held bourbon.
THE STORY BEHIND THE RELEASE
The First Light celebrates New Year in New Zealand, inspired by the country’s coastal landscapes, summer celebrations and the symbolic warmth of a new dawn.
The layered gift box design follows the progression from evening to morning, reflecting bonfires on the beach, fireworks over the ocean and the first golden light of sunrise.
The release was created in collaboration with New Zealand-born illustrator Bonnie Brown, whose artwork reflects family traditions, togetherness and the joy of welcoming a new beginning.

Enjoy neat at room temperature, with a few drops of water if desired, or over a large ice cube.
