Description
Grape: 100% Syrah (whole harvest)
Winemaking
Vinification with controlled fermentation temperatures, use of an automatic punching-down system, and long maceration periods. Fermentation time of approximately 4 weeks.
Ageing: La Reynarde is matured for 40 months in new oak barrels, following the same extended élevage used for E. Guigal’s other single-vineyard Côte-Rôtie wines.
The wine has an estimated ageing potential of approximately 30 years under appropriate cellar conditions.

Serving recommendation
Serve at 16–18°C. in Zalto Glassware
As this is a powerful and youthful Côte-Rôtie, decanting (Zalto Carafe Mystique) for approximately two hours before serving is recommended. Alternatively, it may be cellared and allowed to develop gradually over the coming decades.
