Description
Grape: 67% Sauvignon Blanc, 33% Sémillon
Terroir: classic gravel soils mixed with limestone and clay. These well drained, warm soils allow optimal ripening while preserving freshness. The proximity to pine forests creates a unique microclimate, protecting the vines and contributing to the wine’s distinctive freshness, minerality, and subtle smoky character.
Winemaking:
The grapes are carefully hand harvested and gently pressed to preserve purity and freshness. Fermentation takes place partly in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and partly in French oak barrels. The wine is then aged on its fine lees with regular bâtonnage to build texture and complexity, while maintaining precision and aromatic clarity.
