Description
Grape: 100% Albariño
Winemaking :
After an exhaustive selection, the grapes are destemmed and pressed gently and slowly in a pneumatic press. The must is clarificated by flotation to ensure greater aromatic purity and then fermented at 10°C in stainless steel tanks for approximately 30 days. After fermentation, it remains 3 months with the fine lees in the stainless-steel tank.
6 months in stainless steel tanks and approximately 15% in 225 l acacia wood barrels.
Marqués de Murrieta’s Pazo Barrantes Albariño comes from the Rías Baixas region in Galicia. It is fresh, mineral, and aromatic with citrus, white peach, apple, and a subtle saline character from the Atlantic influence.
Because of its lively acidity and maritime freshness, it works beautifully with seafood, light meats, and Mediterranean cuisine.
