Grape: 100% Sangiovese
The Vineyards: The 14-hectare Le Caggiole vineyard is located at an altitude of 350 m above sea level, on the road that leads from Montepulciano to Gracciano. Not far from the Asinone vineyard, it has a completely different microclimate and geological profile from the latter. The exposure of the vines is east, the soil is decidedly sandy, of marine origin.
